McCain/Palin Obama/Biden
Aug 29th, 2008 | By truthproduct | Category: Featured, money, politicsI’m voting for Obama/Biden. I’m a registered Republican. In my
political believes, I’m a libertarian (mostly) but Ron Paul isn’t
running, Nader and Bob Barr are irrelevant until more Americans wake up.
My main issues are the war and the economy.. I don’t agree with Obama or
McCain on their economic or foreign relations plans but I disagree LESS
with Obama.
The Foreign relations: We should mind our own damn business.. like
China. We should not be the world police.
Economy: Conservatives are just NOT fiscally responsible (Bush 1 & 2
even Ronald Reagan ran up record deficits with NO regard for the
National Debt). I know conservatives think that Clinton was the
Anti-christ, but he did really good for the economy… Jimmy Carter not
so good but that was 30 years ago.
Let me tell you, I am no fan of Bush. I think its pretty amazing that
he was elected twice and even more amazing that McCain has backed him on
90% of his actions. The GOP had 8 years to control the Executive branch
with a republican congress and part with a dem congress and a 1/2
conservative Supreme justice they just didn’t do a good job. If you
think troops doing back to back tours in Iraq and the falling value of
the dollar and complete dependence on foreign oil is good than the
choice is obvious, McCain. His policies to go another direction is not
aggressive enough for me.
The funny thing is I really like McCain, but for me he needs to distance
himself from Bushes policies.
I think McCain chose Palin at least in part because she’s a woman.
Great move because he’ll get a lot of those among the Hilary supporters
who were voting for her because she was a woman.
Don’t get me wrong, Palin is awesome, I saw her speak on C-Span a few
times.. she’s also smokin’ hot. She’s got some dirt on her but its not
that bad: http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/07/31/palin/
Its going to be an interesting race. Either way will make history.
