911 “Truth” doubts

I must admit that the footage of the WTC 7 going down seemingly by itself is a very curious thing.  I haven’t found any rational explaination for it.  Structural engineers are saying that it was hit with debris, but the footage does not seem to show enough debris hitting that building to take it down.  There are also sounds of explosions going off before the buildings go down.

Regardless of my questions about the WTC 7 freefall, the explosions, and my great distrust for the U.S. government (or any large organizations for that matter), I still have doubts about the storyline that many 911 truthers accept as gospel.

My great distrust for the government comes from the history of lies, misinformation and propaganda that was blindly accepted for truth in the past.  I choose to question everything that includes the “911 Truth” movement.

One things that makes me seriously question conspiracies of any kind is that they tend to make MANY stilted assumptions that lead them down a path of myths and beliefs.  After a while certain elements of the assumptions are as accepted as gospel and rational thought (i.e. questions of the belief) are no longer allowed.  There seems to be a tendency to accept assumptions that sound good without question.

I’m an agnostic with 911 truth.  The scary thing for me is that I think that there are elements within the government who would do something like this or allow it to happen to gain more power.
