I saw Pat Buchanan on Fox New accusing Gen. Colin Powell of endorsing Barack Obama because he is black.  I guess it shouldn’t surprise me, what continues to blow my mind is that Conservatives and Liberals tend to allow emotions to

Completely cloud their deductive reasoning.  If Colin Powell was in the habit of endorsing candidates based on race, wouldn’t he have gone for Alan Keyes.  Alan Keyes is not only black, he was also just ran as a Republican Presidential Candidate (before de-railing in usual religious fanatical fashion and staring his own party).  Or perhaps he could have sided with Jesse Jackson who has run numerous times without Colin Powell’s endorsement.

Maybe the reason he endorsed Obama is because the GOP has become more divisive and polarizing than ever.  Perhaps it is because conservatives have decided to completely align themselves with Bush they are now faced with not only the loss of the executive branch but also the ability to move the Legislative branch and eventually the Judicial.   Instead of reforming the party they chose to goose step with a lame duck furor who has wreaked havoc on our credibility as a nation and our civil liberties.

Good bye and good riddance to the old GOP.  You better reform and regroup, because your worse nightmare is about to come true for at least the next 4 years. Ha.. ha.
